Strah, ljutnja, tuga, radost, gađenje, zavist, sram. Adaś Miauczyński se vraća u djetinjstvo kada mu je, kao i većini nas, bilo teško imenovati emocije koje su ga pratile. Da bi poboljšao kvalitet svog odraslog života, odlučuje se vratiti u to vrijeme – koje ipak nije tako bezbrižno – kako bi naučio kako doživjeti sedam osnovnih emocija. Ovo izuzetno nepredvidivo putovanje u prošlost sadrži obilje urnebesnih, čak i komičnih situacija, ali je također ispunjeno mnogo dirljivih trenutaka i materijala za razmišljanje.
