Grupa Magliana je jedna od najsnažnijih italijanskih kriminalnih grupa, dominantna u glavnom gradu Italije. Droga, kocka i ostali kriminalni tokovi su pod njihovim pokroviteljstvom, od ranih 1970-ih do 1992. (do smrti Enrica De Pediasa, čovjeka koji je bio jedan od bosova Magliane). Banda počinje svoju karijeru otmicama bogatih ljudi, dilovanjem droge (hašiša, kokaina, heroina itd.)
Od 1970. počinju sarađivati sa italijanskom tajnom službom, fašistima, terorirstima, sicilijanskom mafijom, Camorrom (mafijška grupa u Italiji, koja ima sedište u Napulju) i sa mnogim drugima. Neki članovi grupe su još živi, kao stanovnici italijanskih zatvora, ili kao svjedoci saradnici. Smještena u 1970. godinu, ovo je priča o tri doživotna prijatelja koji uzimaju kontrolu nad organizovanim kriminalom u glavnom gradu Italije.
