Serija Borgen je danska jednočasovna politička drama u produkciji poznate TV kuće DR1. Serija govori o harizmatičnoj političarki, Birgitte Nyborg (Sidse Babett Knudsen),koja sasvim neočekivano postaje prva žena na poziciji danskog premijera.
Serija prati turbulentni politički život u Danskoj, rad njihove Vlade, kao i život medija koji aktivno prate političku scenu.
Pored premijerke Birgitte Nyborg (Sidse Babett Knudsen), glavne uloge još tumače i Pilou Asbæk, u ulozi problematičnog spin doktora Kasper Juula, kao i Birgitte Hjort Sørensen, koja tumači lik Katrine Fønsmark, ambiciozne novinarke koja je spremna na sve da bi se dokopala priče koja će podići televizijski rejting.
Zaključno sa 2011. godinom emitovane su dve sezone, koje sadrže svaka po 10 epizoda. Prva sezona je počela sa prikazivanje u jesen 2010. godine.
Na jesen 2011. DR-1 je najavila početak snimanja trece, i završne sezone ove serije, čije se emitovanje može očekivati na proleće 2013.
