Serija Peep Show bavi se životima dvojice tridesetogodišnjaka koji žive kao cimeri. Oni se poznaju iz studentskih dana a zajedno žive otkako je Džeremi raskinuo sa devojkom i od Marka iznajmio sobu.
Mark je zaposlen u banci kao menadžer za zajmove, mašta o boljem položaju i godinama nije imao devojku. Kad se zakače, on Džeremiju prebacuje koliko dugo nije platio stanarinu. Džeremi je na rečima veoma uspešan kod žena i misli da je privlačan i pametan. Njegove poslovne ambicije završavaju se na priželjkivanju muzičke karijere.
Njih dvojica redovno zapadaju u situacije u kojima ljudi uglavnom požele da propadnu u zemlju i više nikada ne sretnu svedoke događaja.
Sve to je uglavnom prikazano iz prvog lica uz čujna razmišljanja aktera što omogućava da se vidi šta u stvari neko misli kada kaže "nema problema".
