Xavierovi je neuvěřitelných třicet let. Co se to s ním děje? Není ani student, ale ani opravdu dospělý člověk, který ví, jak se věci mají. Kariéra opravdu nic moc, sny o renomovaném novelistovi se rozplývají. Jeho zaměstnáním je pak psaní reportáží a projevů a vrcholem jeho skvělé kariéry je spolupráce na scénáři pro TV seriál. Jeho sentimentální povaha ho vede v rytmu dobrodružství života ze dne na den, z noci na noc. Zdá se, že i když svede každou ženu, není s nimi schopen vydržet - i když jde o tak krásné a ušlechtilé bytosti, jako jsou Kassia nebo Wendy. Je schopen se už konečně srovnat a zaměřit svůj život na nějaký cíl?
Film Erasmus 2 navazuje na první díl, Erasmus a spol. (2002), který si získal v evropském kontextu velmi dobrý zvuk. Svěží romantická komedie s velmi kvalitním mezinárodním obsazením dává najevo svůj velký potenciál.
