Dokument Cowspiracy si pokládá palčivou otázku – proč velké světové organizace na ochranu životního prostředí mlčí o největší ekologické hrozbě současnosti? Podle OSN je nejvýznamnějším znečišťovatelem planety a zároveň největším zdrojem skleníkových plynů živočišná výroba, tedy produkce masa, mléka a vajec. Nikdo o tom však nemluví. Spolu s filmaři se proto pokusíme nahlédnout do zákulisí velkých organizací jako je Greenpeace a položíme jim velmi nepříjemnou otázku. Co – nebo kdo – jim brání říkat pravdu?
