Devatenáctiletý Tomek sleduje dalekohledem atraktivní třicátnici Magdu, která bývá na sídlišti v domě naproti. Přestože na nedostatek zájmu mužů se nemůže stěžovat, chybí jí hlouběji citové vazby. Platonicky zamilovaný Tomek ji špehuje při denní rutině i při častých návštěvách náhodných mužských známostí. Až kontakt s Tomek otevře Magdě oči a naučí ji prosté lidské něze.
