Vijay Salgaonkar (Ajay Devgn) je původem sirotek, který se tvrdou prací vypracoval za pětadvacet let na slušného občana s respektem a pro kterého jeho rodina znamená všechno na světě. V malé vesnici v horách, na periferii Goa, zavedl kabelovou televizi a žije slušný život až do momentu, kdy jedna nepředvídatelná a neočekávaná událost náhle změní řád a život jemu a jeho nejbližším. Zoufalý otec rodiny bude muset zachovat chladnou hlavu, aby se mu podařilo ochránit jeho nejdražších před nadcházejícím hrozícím neštěstím.
