Jeden z nejlepších detektivů Ashwin Kumar, který právě prochází těžkým obdobím v manželství, se proti své vůli nechá vyšetřovat případ dvojnásobné vraždy. Podle místního policejního oddělení jsou viníky rodiče zavražděné dcery a jejich sluha, ale jejich zpráva obsahuje velké množství nejasností a paskvilů. Poté, co se Ashwin ujme vyšetřování, začínají postupně vyplouvat na povrch nové a nové skutečnosti, které celý případ zahalují rouškou tajemství a záhad.
