Checco, nevzdělaný, ale samolibý chlapík z Milána, který vždycky snil o tom, že se stane policistou, už potřetí neuspěje u přijímacích zkoušek. Nutno říci, že při ústní zkoušce Checco uvedl, že důvodem, proč chce nastoupit k policii, jsou naturální výhody a kamarádšoft! Mladík má však konexe a brzy se ocitá jako bezpečnostní agent v milánské katedrále. Samozřejmě, že se tento nemotorný idiot ukáže jako živoucí katastrofa! Všimne si ho Sufien, arabský terorista, který připravuje útok na katedrálu, a Checco se objeví jako dokonalý nastrčený hrdina. Aby ho zmanipuloval, pošle za ním svou půvabnou sestru Farah, která má za úkol ho svést...
