Pastevci sobů kontra horníci. To je střet, který otřásá civilizací v pusté laponské tundře. Hlavním hrdinou severského westernu je mladý horník Rupi, který se snaží získat dostatek peněz na to, aby ze sebe navždy setřásl dusivý prach hornické vesnice. Zatím si vykutal především nenávist rodiny, kde se dědí pastevecká profese. Práce navíc zoufale vázne, protože Rupiho otec odmítá prodat svou půdu. Rupi je také zamilovaný do kamarádovy ženy, po níž ale touží i majitel dolu. Život v odlehlé vesnici je den ode dne nebezpečnější a Rupi se musí rozhodnout, kam patří a na čí straně stojí. Je to prapůvodní tundra jeho předků, nebo chladný svět soukromých zájmů? Snímek získal cenu pro nejlepší film v soutěži pobaltských filmů na festivalu Black Nights v Tallinu.
