Když mladík (JEREMY DAVIES) odhalí intriky svého šéfa a zjistí, že soudce (MICHAEL Lerner) chce zabít svého indiánského obchodního partnera a jeho manželku, musí ujít, aby si zachránil život. Na autobusovém nádraží městečka 29 Palms si nechtěně zamění tašku a najednou v rukou drží cizí vak plný peněz. Na rozruch nemusí dlouho čekat, zanedlouho se stane terčem zabijáka (CHRIS O'DONNELL), jehož najal majitelem kasina Native American a majitel tašky. Dále se do případu zapletou strážník (JON Politi) a zkorumpovaný policista (MICHAEL Rapaport), který původně přinesl peníze na nádraží. Začínají se závod o život a tašku plnou peněz. . .
