Tomáš a jeho nejlepší kamarád Percy se snaži se střídavým úspěchem pomáhat hasit obrovský požár, ale nakonec se objeví Belle a celý den zachrání. K úspěšné záchraně je zapotřebí spousta vody, a tak Belle přijde o všechny zásoby, přesto se však díky pomoci Tomáše a Percyho dostane na nádraží. Revizor zasype Belle gratulacemi za odvahu a neúnavnou práci a nabídne hrdinskému vláčku, aby zůstal na ostrově, protože hasicích vlaků není nikdy dost. Belle pro tento úkol navrhuje Flynna a slíbí, že mu pomůže dostat se z pevniny na ostrov.
