Den stort anlagte engelsksprogede scifi-monsterfilm er instrueret af Hyung-rae Shim ("Yonggary") og bygger over et koreansk sagn. I filmen medvirker bl.a. Jason Behr, Robert Forster og Amanda Brooks. Projektet omhandler en gigantisk drage, der dukker op fra en svunden tid for at smadre sig vej gennem centrum i Los Angeles. En ung journalist bliver sendt ind for at dække katastrofen, hvor han bliver involveret med pigen Sarah, og sammen må de forsøge at afværge den totale destruktion, hvor væsner fra fordums tid indtager storbyen.
