På 13. etage i en kontorbygning har den visionære Douglas Hall og hans hårdhudede kollega Whitney åbnet døren til en fantastisk virtuel verden. Men da deres magtfulde leder af projektet bliver fundet myrdet, bliver Hall den hovedmistænkte. Pludselig ankommer en skønhed fra Paris og påstår, at hun er datter af den myrdede.
