Notorious er et biografisk drama, der fortæller historien om den berømte, amerikanske rapper The Notorious B.I.G.'s alt for korte liv. Filmen løfter sløret for rapkulturens voldsomme bagside og tegner samtidig et fascinerende portræt af den kriminelle New Yorker-dreng, der kæmper sig vej til toppen og får kultstatus.
