De opretholder livet ved at myrde vildfarne samuraier, kaste deres lig ned i et dybt, mørkt hul og sælge deres ejendele for korn. Da en nabo vender tilbage fra kampene, kommer lyst, jalousi og raseri til at true trioens eksistens, og en uheldsvanger, stjålet åndemaske besegler deres uhyggelige skæbne.
