En bevidstløs mand skyller i land. Han er blevet skudt i hovedet, men han har mirakuløst overlevet med kun en enkelt bivirkning: Hukommelsestab. Langsomt begynder manden dog at huske sin voldsomme fortid. Da hans sygeplejerske bliver kidnappet, vågner han op og og kaster sig ind i kampen med frygtindgydende brutalitet. Hovedrollen bliver spillet af Iko Uwais, bedst kendt fra The Raid-filmene.
