Freden i Brandmand Sams lille by bliver forstyrret, da Norman ser en flyvende tallerken. Snart overrendes byen af folk på jagt efter små grønne mænd, anført af Buck Douglas og hans tv-show om rumvæsner. Det fører til uheld overalt, og Brandmand Sam har svært ved at følge med. Heldigvis har byen netop fået et nyt redningscenter med helikopter og ekstra stor vandspand til brandslukning. Alle bliver helt rumtossede, og selv Brandmand Sam får øje på en lille grøn mand. Men der er noget, som virker lidt mærkeligt, og Brandmand Sam går i gang med at undersøge, hvad der ligger bag besøget fra rummet.
