For 30 år siden trak Henry 'Razor' Sharp sig tilbage som bokser, aftenen før han skulle have mødt Billy 'The Kid' McDonnen i en titelkamp. Aflysningen lagde begge bokseres karrierer i ruiner, og McDonnen har båret nag til Sharp lige siden. Da lejligheden for en revanche byder sig, genoptager de gamle kombattanter træningen, selv om de begge har nået pensionsalderen. Nu skal regnskabet gøres op!
