Småkriminelle fusker Buddy "Aces" Israel forsøger at slippe ud af fedtefadet ved at vidne mod mafiachefen Primo Sparazza. Det synes Primo er en rigtig dårlig ide, så han udlover en dusør af de store på Aces hoved. Det får alskens luskede lejemordere og forhærdede forbrydere til at lede efter ham.
