Mestertyven Hudson vil egentlig gerne være en lovlydig borger - det går bare ikke. De to bindegale multimilliadærene Darwin og Minerva Mayflower har fundet ud af at Leonardo Da Vince opfandt en maskine der kan lave guld, og bagefter gemte maskinens tre dele. Hudson får et tilbud, han ikke kan afslå, og det bliver hans opgave at stjæle de tre dele.
