Jack Frost er elsket af sin kone og sønnen Charlie, men karrieren tager alt hans tid. Så en dag beslutter Jack sig for at droppe jobbet for at tage hjem til familien. Men hans bil forulykker, og han dør. Det bliver en hård tid for sønnen. Han spiller på harmonika, og ønsker, at faderen kan høre ham spille, sådan som han lovede ham.
