Den tidligere FBI-medarbejder Erin Grant er stripper i en natklub – og en af stedets absolutte hovedattraktioner. Men på hjemmefronten har hun problemer. Hendes usympatiske eksmand har nemlig fået forældremyndigheden over deres fælles datter, fordi Erins job fremstår umoralsk i dommerens øjne. Heldigvis tilbyder Jerry, en af Erins inkarnerede beundrere, at hjælpe hende. Han ved lige, hvilke knapper der skal trykkes på hos politikeren David Dilbeck, som er blevet fotograferet i en uheldig situation blandt de letpåklædte damer. Men da Jerry findes myrdet, vikles Erin ind i et uoverskueligt net af korruption og vanvittige hændelser.
