Mazinger Z, kortvarigt kendt som Tranzor Z i USA, er en japansk superrobot-mangaserie skrevet og illustreret af Go Nagai. Den første manga-version blev serialiseret i Shueishas Weekly Shōnen Jump fra oktober 1972 til august 1973, og den fortsatte senere i Kodansha TV Magazine fra oktober 1973 til september 1974. Den blev adapteret til en anime-tv-serie, som blev sendt på Fuji TV fra december 1972 til september 1974. En anden manga-serie blev udgivet samtidig med tv-serien, denne gang tegnet af Gosaku Ota, som startede og sluttede næsten samtidig med tv-serien. Mazinger Z har affødt flere efterfølgere og spinoff-serier, blandt andet UFO Robot Grendizer og Mazinkaiser. Det var en meget populær tegnefilm i Mexico i 1980'erne, hvor den blev dubbet til spansk direkte fra den japanske version, beholdt de japanske karakternavne og sendte alle 92 episoder, i modsætning til den version, der blev sendt i USA.
