I en verden, hvor magi ikke er et eventyr, men har eksisteret i hundrede år, forbereder søskendeparret Tatsuya og Miyuki Shiba sig på at begynde deres studier på den elite Private Magic University Affiliated High School (forkortet Magic High School).
