Die Erde bebt, die Companeros kommen. Der Name Hagen steht für die Bewohner von Neu-Mexiko, für grenzenlosen Haß und brutalste Gewalt. Eine blutige Spur zeichnet den Weg der Hagenbande, bis Nevada Kid auftaucht und schwört, der Bande das gemeine Handwerk zu legen. Mühsam ist es, das Versteck Hagens aufzuspüren. Tausend Gefahren und mannigfacher Verrat lauern am Weg, bis Nevada Kid endlich zum großen Kampf und zum Sieg über Hagen kommen kann.
