Eine Familie wird dazu gezwungen, in einem Büro in Hollywood eine Zahlung zu leisten. Großvater, samt Enkelin und Enkel Orville, reisen also nach Hollywood, in der Hoffnung, dort einige Filmstars zu treffen. Opa verpasst den Zug, sodass die beiden Enkel allein weiterreisen. In Hollywood angekommen, werden sie in einen Bankraub verwickelt, den sie fälschlicherweise für eine Filmaufnahme halten.
