Der Bildhauer Paul begegnet durch einen Zufall seiner Jugendliebe Valérie und deren 16-jährigen Tochter Laura, einer wunderschönen und anmutigen Balletttänzerin. Sofort fühlt er eine innige Zuneigung zu der blutjungen Laura, die ihrer Mutter so sehr ähnelt. Auch Laura ist in eine tiefe, träumerische Liebe zu ihm verfallen. Als Paul unbedingt eine Skulptur von Laura anfertigen möchte, willigt die eifersüchtige Valérie nur unter der Bedingung ein, dass Paul Photos als Vorlage verwendet. Erst ein schicksalhaftes Ereignis bringt die zwei sehnsüchtig Liebenden zusammen und lässt Paul sein Werk endgültig vollenden. Die Geschichte der Laura M. stammt aus dem Hause Alive AG.
