Ο 'Αλεξ Γουίτμαν, λατρεύει την Νέα Υόρκη, είναι άθεος και ορθολογιστής, ενώ βλέπει τους γονείς του ελάχιστα και δεν πιστεύει στα παιχνίδια της μοίρας.
