نوع چهارم؛ فیلمی در سبک علمی تخیلی تریلر روانشناختی به کارگردانی اولاتوند اوسونسانمی و با بازی میلا یوویچ است. فیلم بر اساس اتفاقات واقعی است که در سال ۱۹۶۰ در شهری در ایالت آلاسکا اتفاق می افتد و به علت نوع خاص اتفاقات پلیس و FBI آن را مسکوت و بایگانی کرده اند. در آن سال ها گزارشاتی مبنی بر ربوده شدن انسان ها ارسال می شد. در سال ۷۲ یک دکتر روانشانس به بررسی اتفاقات پرداخت اما بررسی ها و تحقیقات او انتشار پیدا نکرد تا اینکه خود دکتر تایلر در سال ۲۰۰۲ مطالب را بازگو و افشا کرد. ماجرا از این قرار بود که در شهر نوم افراد محلی نوعی ارتباط روحی با بیگانه ها و فضایی ها برقرار می کردند که انواع مختلفی داشت نوع اول دیدن بود نوع دوم به جا ماندن مدارک و شواهد بود . نوع سوم برقراری ارتباط با بیگانه ها ، تماس یا برخورد مستقیم بود و در ارتباط نوع چهارم انسان ها توسط بیگانه ها ربوده می شدند…
