Hereafter kertoo kolmesta ihmisestä, jotka joutuvat kohtaamaan kuolevaisuuden eri tavoilla. Matt Damon esittää Georgea, amerikkalaista duunaria, jolla on erityinen yhteys tuonpuoleiseen.
