Kielletty planeetta (engl. Forbidden Planet) on vuonna 1956 valmistunut Fred M. Wilcoxin ohjaama yhdysvaltalainen tieteiselokuva. Elokuvan käsikirjoitus pohjautuu William Shakespearen näytelmään Myrsky, ja se hyödyntää ihmisen piilotajuntaa Freudin hengessä. Elokuvaa pidetään tieteiselokuvan klassikkona hyvän käsikirjoituksensa, näyttävien erikoistehosteidensa sekä uraauurtavan taustamusiikkinsa vuoksi. Se oli ensimmäinen elokuva, jonka musiikki oli kokonaan elektronista. Kielletty planeetta oli vuonna 1957 ehdolla Oscar-palkinnon saajaksi erikoistehosteiden sarjassa. Suosituksi tullut robotti Robby the Robot esiintyi myöhemmin muissakin elokuvissa sekä sarjafilmissä Matkalla avaruuteen.
