Vuonna 1974 maailman suurin radioteleskooppi välitti muulle aurinkokunnalle tietoja maapallosta ja sen asukkaista sekä ihmissolun DNA-ketjuista. 20 vuotta myöhemmin viestiin vastattiin. Joku - tai jokin - tiesi, mistä meidät löytää. Vastauksessa kehotettiin yhdistämään toimitetut DNA-tiedot omiimme. Ihmisen uteliaisuus voitti pelon. Uskoimme, että pystymme hallitsemaan tilanteen. Uskoimme, ettei mikään voisi horjuttaa omaa ylivoimaamme... Olimme väärässä.
