Tijekom praznika u sjevernoj Australiji, Grace (Diana Glenn), njezin muž Adam (Andy Rodoreda) i njezina mlađa sestra Lee (Maeve Dermody) odlučuju otići na razgledavanje i u ribolov. Njihov vodič Jim (Ben Oxenbould) ih u malenom čamcu vodi po rijeci na udaljeno mjesto. Kada se zaustave, napadne ih ogromni krokodil koji im prevrne čamac i ubije Jima. Tri preživjela i prestravljena turista se tada popnu na obližnje stablo i kada shvate da pomoć nikada neće doći po njih odluče pokušati pobjeći. Međutim shvate da to neće nimalo biti lako, čamac im je prevrnut, a krokodil pod vodom vreba svoju iduću žrtvu.
