U bliskoj budućnosti na ratom opustošenoj Zemlji, četiri iscrpljena vojnika upravljaju Sentinelom - udaljenom vojnom bazom u ogromnom oceanu koji razdvaja dva zaraćena kontinenta. Iako je njihova dužnost završila prije tri mjeseca, ekipa za pomoć još uvijek nije stigla a prazni tjedni pretvaraju se u mjesece. Spremaju se odbiti neprijateljski napad, ali shvaćaju da se to može učiniti samo tako da se neprijatelju pogodi slaba točka moćnim oružjem koje oni nemaju.
