Il corto vede Shrek, Fiona con i loro 3 pargoletti impegnati ad organizzare per la prima volta il loro Natale. Shrek però è un orco e non ha idea di cosa sia veramente il Natale, così si procura una guida al Natale dove trova le istruzioni per organizzare e comprendere il Natale. Il povero orco ci prova ma deve fare i conti con l’invadente Ciuchino, il gatto con gli stivali, Pinocchio e tutta l’allegra compagnia che, per festeggiare con lui, ne combinano di tutti i colori.
