Manciuria, anni '30. Chang-yi (Lee Byung-heon), un killer dandy che ha perennemente stampato in faccia un sogghigno ironico, viene assoldato per recuperare una mappa in mano a un banchiere giapponese. Intanto, a sua insaputa, l’infallibile cacciatore di taglie Do-won (Jung Woosung) viene incaricato della stessa missione dall’esercito indipendentista coreano. La mappa però, dopo un’esplosiva rapina ad un treno, è finita nelle mani di un ladro, Tae-gu (Song Kang-ho), convinto che essa conduca ai favolosi tesori della dinastia Qing. Comincia una lotta serrata tra i tre, disposti a tutto per non restare fuori dal gioco!
