Ricky e la sua famiglia combattono contro i debiti dopo il tracollo finanziario del 2008. Una nuova opportunità appare all'orizzonte grazie a un furgone nuovo che offre a Ricky la possibilità di lavorare come corriere per una ditta in franchise. Si tratta di un lavoro duro ma quello della moglie come badante non è da meno. L'unità familiare è forte ma quando entrambi prendono strade diverse tutto sembra andare verso un inevitabile punto di rottura.
