Po penkerių metų kalėjimo bankų plėšikas Liuka išėjo į laisvę. Jis nutarė baigti savo kriminalinę karjerą ir tapti garbingu žmogumi. Deja, vos užsukęs į banką jis patiria nesėkmę. Būtent tą dieną nevykėlis Fransua Pinjonas ryžosi pirmą kartą apiplėšti banką. Atvykus policijai, vėpla įkaitu ima Liuką. Policija įsitikinusi, kad Liuka - plėšikas.
