Milijoniniame Beirute gyvena krikščionis mašinų mechanikas Tonis ir palestinietis musulmonas Jaseras, dirbantis statybose. Vieną dieną tarp jų kyla iš pažiūros paprastas konfliktas dėl nutekamojo vamzdžio. Abu dėl apsižodžiavimo jaučiasi įžeisti, bet nė vienas nemano atsiprašyti. Palaipsniui šis mažas konfliktas taip išauga, kad persikelia ne tik į teismo salę, bet ir į Beiruto gatves. 8-ajame dešimtmetyje vykusio Libano pilietinio karo žaizdų neužsigydė ne tik Tonis su Jaseru, bet ir dauguma visuomenės. Režisierius jau ne pirmą kartą įrodo, jog geba įtraukiamai ir kartu jautriai kalbėti apie traumines patirtis, neteisybę, išankstinius nusistatymus ir nepakantumą vienas kitam.
