Detektyvas Brentas - kietas ir ne visuomet pagal taisykles žaidžiantis faras. Jo partneris prisilaiko šiek tiek švelnesnių metodų, tačiau jis toks pats aršus tvarkos ir teisingumo gynėjas. Nors detektyvai ne visuomet sutaria ir kiekvienas kitame įžvelgia erzinančių bruožų, bet bendras tikslas sučiupti žudiką, retinantį policininkų gretas, priverčia pamiršti skirtumus.
