Čarlis (akt. Anton Yelchin) – paauglys, kuriam, regis, viskas puikiai klostosi. Tačiau vieną dieną Čarlio draugas dingsta kaip į vandenį. Čarlis priverstas išsiaiškinti draugo dingimo paslaptį. Staiga Čarlis suvokia, jog iš pažiūros paprastu žmogumi atrodantis Džeris savyje slepia kažkokią paslaptį. Deja, medžiodamas paslaptingąjį kaimyną Čarlis pats tampa Džerio taikiniu. Nelieka nieko kito, kaip tik rasti būdą kaip nusikratyti kaimynystėje įsikūrusio monstro. Vampyro medžioklė parodys, kas nugalės nelygioje kovoje su pačia mirtimi!
