Prieš šešerius metus vaizdo tinklaraštininkės Zhonan ir du jos draugai, pasivadinę vaiduoklių medžiotojais, nuvyko į vieno iš jų kaimą filmuoti tam tikro uždrausto tunelio. Ten vaikinai sulaužė vietinius tabu, o nuo to laiko merginą persekioja prakeiksmas, kuris atneša nelaimę jos šeimai ir draugams – mirė jos tėvai, o pačiai Zhonan naujagimę dukrą teko atiduoti į našlaičių namus. Dabar ji įsitikinusi, kad žino, kaip susidoroti su piktomis jėgomis, todėl nusprendžia grąžinti vaiką, tačiau aplink mergaitę jau pradeda ryškėti prakeikimo ženklai.
