Jaunas karalius buvo sužeistas mūšyje. Jį išgelbėjo drakonas, gyvenęs netoliese. Po kelerių metų jo nugalabyti atvyko garsus drakonų žudikas. Tačiau drakonas susidraugavo su riteriu ir netgi sudarė sąjungą. Drakonas neva puldinės kaimus ir miestelius, o laiku pasirodęs riteris neva gelbės jų žmones. Už gyventojų "išgelbėjimą” gautą nemažą atlygį pasidalins pusiau. Netikėtai "duetą” pasiekia žinia, kad šalį pradėjo valdyti naujas karalius – tikras blogio įsikūnijimas. Drakonas su riteriu patraukia į karalystę nužudyti žiauriojo valdovo. Tačiau paaiškėja, kad jis – kadaise drakono išgelbėtas jaunuolis...
