Nė vienas jų niekuo neišsiskyrė iš kitų, kol vieną gražią dieną dėl keisto nutikimo „Sunshine“ viešbutyje paprasti daiktai ėmė virst stebuklingais. Dešimtasis „Sunshine“ viešbučio kambarys ir daugybė įprastų jo interjero detalių – žirklių, šukų ir pan. – tą dieną įgijo unikalių ir nepaaiškinamų ypatybių, dėl kurių įprasti daiktai tapo nesunaikinamais objektais. Žirklės gali bet kokį daiktą paversti į trijų dimensijų objektą. Kai šukomis persibrauki per plaukus, jos dešimčiai sekundžių sustabdo laiką. Užsidėjus akinius jie dvidešimties pėdų spinduliu sustabdo bet kokį degimą. Pats kambarys yra vartai į bet kokią kelionę. Tačiau jis gali iš tavęs atimt ir tai, ką vertini labiau už savo gyvybę. Turėti bet kurį magiškų galių turintį daiktą reiškia įgyti jo suteikiamų galių.
