Driver ialah seorang lagak ngeri Hollywood yang mahir yang bekerja sebagai pemandu melarikan diri untuk penjenayah. Walaupun dia memproyeksikan bahagian luar yang berais, sejak kebelakangan ini dia telah memanaskan badan dengan jiran cantik bernama Irene dan anak lelakinya yang masih kecil, Benicio. Apabila suami Irene keluar dari penjara, dia meminta bantuan Driver dalam rompakan berjuta-juta dolar.
