Een geheim genootschap van krijgers heeft generatie na generatie goddelijke wapens beschermd. Deze wapens, de Astras, zijn in het oude India gemaakt en veilig bewaard voor de ogen van de wereld. Eén van deze machtige wapens staat op het punt te ontwaken en dreigt het universum te vernietigen. De wereld van de jonge Shiva komt op zijn kop te staan als hij achter het bestaan komt van zijn mysterieuze connectie met de wapens. In hem zit een grote kracht die hij niet begrijpt: de kracht van het vuur. Shiva's wil het einde van de wereld voorkomen, maar zijn missie wordt bemoeilijkt door de duistere Junoon.
