Khoi, een naïeve twintigjarige, reist van het platteland naar Ho Chi Minh-stad om een nieuw leven te beginnen. Het is zijn eerste keer in de grote stad en hij is op zoek naar een plek om te wonen. Hij raakt bevriend met Dong, een knappe extraverte persoon die aanbiedt zijn appartement te delen. Als Khoi de plek gaat bekijken, ontmoet hij Lam, die daar ook lijkt te wonen. Khoi besluit te blijven, maar terwijl hij aan het douchen is, gaan Dong en Lam - die vriendjes blijken te zijn - er vandoor met al zijn geld en bezittingen.
