Det hele starter når Boogs venner velger familieplikter fremfor den årlige gutteturen, og en skuffet Boog bestemmer seg for å ta en tur på egenhånd, noe som fører ham rett inn i sirkusmanesjen ... bokstavelig talt. Når han bytter plass med en utspekulert sirkusgrizzly som ligner ham på en prikk, og forelsker seg i et forførerisk medlem av den russiske troppen, oppdager han at man kanskje ikke behøver å velge mellom familie og vennskap allikevel.
